Though there could be a couple more casting updates during this year's Comic-Con for Star Trek XI, here is the first whopper. Although barely anybody knew of Zachary Quinto was before his role as Sylar in NBC's Heroes, the actor is ready to boldly go into another huge acting gig.

Beaming away from television, it looks as Quinto is in the process of boarding Star Trek XI as one of the quintessential characters.

EOnline got an inside scoop that Zachary Quinto was most likely going to take the role of Spock in Star Trek XI. This scoop has now been confirmed, claiming that Quinto is in the final stages of signing a deal with Paramount.

Zachary Quinto's chances of being Spock in the upcoming Star Trek film are looking extremely good. I hear the deal is about to close. Best. Casting. Ever.

The 11th film in the Star Trek big-screen franchise will be directed by J.J. Abrams and is expected to arrive in theatres on December 25th, 2008.

Read more...Last season, a dramatic series by the name of Vanished started a run on FOX. The series revolved around the search for Senator's wife Sara Collins after disappearing from a dinner held in her honor. As the story unfolded, it became apparent that this case was anything but simple.

Few people watched Vanished and the series was pulled after nine episodes. FOX posted the rest of the episodes online but few felt satisfied by the series finale. Sara's fate was revealed but other mysteries went unresolved and the series ended on a big cliffhanger. Yet another unresolved serial drama from the 2006-07 season.

It now looks like this case may not be closed for good. E Online reports that the Vanished storylines may be resolved on a third season episode of FOX crime series Bones. Since Bones usually focuses on human remains, its unclear how the resolution would work. Perhaps Sara is murdered? In any case, it's certainly a clever idea and a nice way for Vanished fans to get some closure. We'll keep you posted as we hear more.

Read more...Becoming Jane is an imaginative romantic comedy in the spirit of Jane Austen that places young Jane herself at the center of a witty, enchanting romance not unlike those that would later captivate millions in her celebrated works of literature. The film spins the few known facts surrounding Austen’s real-life flirtation with the Irish lawyer, Tom Lefroy, into a tale about the kind of personal passion and social complications that could have inspired Jane to become the ingenious and utterly timeless observer of human relationships and romance that she soon did. Indeed, the story playfully references the characters and themes that wend their way through her six novels.
