Those of you who loved Escape to Witch Mountain the first time around may be pleased to know that Walt Disney Pictures is planning to remake the movie. Disney has an opportunity to do something great with this new movie, but what we have trouble working out is the fact that Disney has decided to use Andy Fickman as director. 

The first Escape to Witch Mountain film was back in 1975, the story which came from Alexander Key’s novel followed two children who were orphans and of which had extraordinary powers. However these mysterious children are being chased by a nasty millionaire who wishes to exploit the both of them.

The movie then had a sequel titled Return from Witch Mountain, back in 1978, then in 1982 there was a TV movie spin-off.

Personally, I’m not sure if we really need a new Escape to Witch Mountain movie, but only time will tell.
